We provide you with a gallery that features the photos taken during Elsa Michael’s last trip to Eritrea. We present faces, sceneries, and places. Not only do you see pleasant experiences, but also a true account of the Smile Project’s ongoing activities and programs.
In a couple of months, the Charity Market will take place again. Elsa Michael, the founder of the Smile Project, organizes this annual Charity Market to raise funds for projects that support women, children, and the less fortunate in Eritrea. We are delighted to involve all those who follow and support us and to tell you how your donations have been invested in real projects. Despite all the difficulties related to the pandemic, Smile Project not only kept the ongoing projects alive, but has carried them forward and started new ones also.
A few months ago, Elsa returned to Africa after two years and collected these photos that we would like to show you in the following gallery. Represented are three projects; Eri Handcraft: Project for Women, Abraha Bahta: School for the Blind, and The Eritrean National Association of the Deaf and Mute (ERINAD).
Please take a moment to flip through the photos to see what we have accomplished.
