Double stop for Smile Project Charity Market

Big news 2023: Charity Market 2023, the annual charity market organised by Smile Project to raise funds for projects in Eritrea, will take place in two cities: Florence, where it is now a recurring event, and Rome, this year’s new location. Here are the details of the two events

Florence or Rome? Both! Smile Project doubles this year and, in addition to Florence, will organise the Charity Market 2023 also in Rome. And if the location in Florence will once again be the magnificent Tepidarium del Roster, in Rome we will be in the very central and elegant Via Del Corso.

This new stage was very much desired by Elsa Michael, founder of Smile Project, who has worked very hard during these months to organise the event impeccably. The idea of organising a new Charity Market was born to expand the number of supporters, and not only economic ones, of the solidarity projects the association is involved in. In Rome, in addition to the usual Charity Market where clothes and accessories of important designer labels will be on sale, a gala dinner will be organised with prominent personalities of the Roman ‘dolce vita’, in the delightful setting of Villa Miani. A unique and unmissable event for its atmosphere.

‘Thanks to the Smile Project,’ said Elsa Michael, ’children and young people have received a proper education, young single mothers have attended tailoring courses and become independent with the work that followed, and people with physical deficits have been professionally trained so that they can be integrated into their community. All of this requires commitment but also a lot of financial availability, which is why we organise our Charity Markets every year, and also why the second stop in Rome: there are now four projects supported by Smile Project, and we are eager to take them further”.
