Smile Project Charity Market – November 2019

Smile Project’s traditional Charity Market has become a three-day event!

For the first time, we have decided to extend the Charity Market to three days: on 22-23-24 November 2019, the Tepidarium del Roster, the splendid greenhouse of the Giardino dell’Orticultura in Florence, welcomed our Charity Market, and we were inundated with your affection. There were so many of you who came to visit us, and you all contributed to making it possible for our non-profit organization to carry out all the projects we have in store for 2020.

One of the projects we will finance this year is entirely dedicated to women: Eri Handcraft. Currently in Eritrea, there is a lack of places where women can socialize, other than in their own homes, to talk about their problems, interests, and projects. The Debat Training Center will become the meeting point for Eri Handcraft, a formal and informal meeting and training place for women of all ages. Here they will be able to discuss and meet but also learn a trade that of producing handicraft products using traditional know-how and local raw materials.
