After the great success of the 2023 edition, the Rome Charity Gala organised by Smile Project returns again this year on 10 October to raise funds for the humanitarian projects supported by the Association
In the splendid Villa Miani, via Trionfale 151 in Rome, in the company of prominent personalities of Roman society, an unforgettable evening with a gourmet dinner, live music and an open bar to toast together to solidarity. One of the highlights of the evening will be the Charity Auction where unique and exclusive pieces will be on sale: the highest bidder will be able to take home something special and at the same time contribute to a worthy cause.
Last year’s Gala raised €79,500 and all the money was spent to buy fabrics and dyes for the tailoring school for young women at the Eri Handcraft centre, and solar panels for the facility that produces prostheses, a goal set by the group of volunteers who visited the Smile Project projects in Eritrea in 2023, and achieved thanks to last year’s event in Rome.
